    Copal – Copal has a powerful scent that purifies the energy in your space.  It helps to strengthen the auric body, by removing all energy blockages making it a useful tool for meditation.
     
    Myrrh – Fortify and revitalise your mood with Myrrh resin and to purify your environment and promote healing.  You can use Myrrh in your prayers and meditation to promote inspirational and emotional insight.
     
    Damar – Damar resin is specially processed using the finest quality hard wood tree.  Damar has an antiviral property which fights with harmful viruses and provides fresh air.  It is useful to combat feeling of sadness, depression and melancholy.
     
    Frankincense –Frankincense creates an enchanting atmosphere that helps enhance meditations, reduce stress, tension and uplift one spiritually.
     
    Cauldron - A cauldron also known as an incense burner is designed to handle burning resin on top of a charcoal disc on a bed of sand or rock salt.
     
    Charcoal Disc - Three Kings’ Quick Light charcoal is disc-shaped.  The disc (also known as tablet or tab), ignites quickly and are easy to use.
     
    Tongs - The Charcoal discs are quite messy, to help keep the finger free of charcoal, these tongs come in very handy to pull out of the packet and to hold the charcoal disc while igniting it.
     
    White California Sage
    Using Sage as a smudging practice is a well-known spiritual ritual to help purify your space on an energetic level, this includes your living or working space and or your personal aura from any lower vibrational frequencies (negative frequencies).  
     
    It can also be used to cleanse your crystals like crystal jewellery, loose tumble crystals, or larger crystal clusters.

    • Directions of Use

      Set a charcoal tablet (may want to use tongs as it is messy) on a bed of rock salt or sand into a cauldron or a flame proof container. 

      Using tongs light the charcoal tablet from the underside until you see the crackling and glow appear, then place it down.  Once you start to see the tablet producing smoke, then place the resin incense on the top (may want to use the tongs or a spoon and carefully place it down onto the disc without touching it as it is HOT.

      You may choose to move around your environment to clear your space or place it down and enjoy the ritual of the incense burning.

    • About Resin

      Incense resins are natural substances such as frankincense, copal and myrrh which are harvested from gum trees. The resin is obtained from living trees via ‘tapping’.   Resin is the life blood of the tree, healing its wounds & inflictions and protecting it against infection.  In short resin repairs, protects and heals.  

      The resin is obtained sustainably to ensure that the tree continues to thrive.

      Resins are used in many religious and spiritual ceremonies. They are also burned for mediation and relaxation purposes. Most people are familiar with incense sticks, however, natural resins are the original incense and give off a richer and deeper fragrance.  In modern day known more commonly to help clear and create a sacred space.

    • FAQs - How to Use Charcoal Discs

      How to stop the Resin burning?

      After use, make sure you immerse the remains of the charcoal disc & resin in water.   You will need to discard afterwards as it cannot be reused.

      How to discard disc once the burning has ceased?

      To discard the grey soot remains can be placed into the garden or on the lawn.  It is all natural materials that came from the earth and is a much or sustainable way of recycling. 

      How do I stop the burning to re-use for later?

      You can break the disc in half, this will reduce the burning time of the resin.  You may want to use some disposable gloves to break it in half as the charcoal will get on your fingers.  Once the disc is burning it can not be reused a second time.

      How much resin do I need to put on the disc?

      From my own experience, I generally like to place enough the cover the disc.  Some resins melt down into liquid.  If you find the disc is still burning but you can’t smell the aroma of the resin anymore, you can top it up with some more resin.

      How frequently to I need to change the sand or rock salt base?

      I personally use a rock salt base to place my charcoal disc on and once the salt hardens or once every 3-6months I do.  It is a personal choice. 

      It is advisable to keep charcoal tabs out of reach from children.
